Position Summary:

Qubrid AI is accelerating the the adoption of AI – with it’s leading Cloud and Edge On-Prem AI Platform software, GPU Cloud instances, AI Model Fine-tuning, RAG and optimized and orchestrated deployment capabilities, Qubrid AI is enabling use cases that are meaningful to businesses around the world. With thousands of users already using the platform, we are ready to take the next step in our growth plans by hiring for key positions including this one.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and strategic but hands-on Executive Vice President of Global Sales & Partnerships to lead our AI and NVIDIA GPU Cloud sales initiatives. This executive will drive the global sales strategy, manage a high-performing sales team, and ensure the company’s growth in the AI and cloud computing markets.

This job is not for the faint hearted. AI is a new and fast growing field with customers still figuring out use cases and some moving from experimentation to production. So the best candidate will know how to deal with ambiguity, have experience with emerging technologies and be focused on business growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in both large enterprises and startups and possess extensive experience in sales leadership, a deep understanding of AI and cloud technologies, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets on a global scale. NVIDIA experience in current or recent employment is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership:
    • Develop and execute the global sales & partnership strategy for AI software and NVIDIA GPU Cloud solutions.
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing global sales team.
    • Establish sales goals, KPIs, and performance metrics to drive success.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the sales organization.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the AI and cloud computing markets.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and market needs.
  • Market Expansion:
    • Drive market expansion efforts, including entering new geographic regions and verticals.
    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Revenue Growth:
    • Achieve and exceed revenue targets through effective sales planning and execution.
    • Monitor sales performance, provide regular reports to the executive team, and adjust strategies as needed.
    • Implement effective sales processes, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8-10+ years of sales leadership experience, with a focus on AI, cloud computing, or related technologies.
  • Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading global sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of AI, cloud computing, and NVIDIA GPU technologies – knowledge experience with Generative AI models such as Stable Diffusion, Mistral, Llama 3 etc is preferred.
  • History of working with NVIDIA, AWS, Google (GCP) in the GPU cloud group or GPU OEM providers such as Dell, HPE, Supermicro, Lenovo or others. Alternatively candidates with experience in AI models, agents and application software will also be high interest.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally as needed.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: As in a typical startup, this leadership position will have a low base salary but super high commission in addition to equity opportunity. Do not apply if very high base salary is expected. Your base salary will increase as the company grows.
  • Commission: Performance-based commission structure tied to sales targets and revenue growth. Very high commission on software sales. For the right candidate, commission would be in several hundred thousand dollars upon achieving target. Sky is the limit.
  • Equity: Stock options or equity participation as part of the total compensation package. You will join us as a partner and early executive – be prepared to put skin in the game and the rewards will be high.
